I bought this pedal in hopes of diving into the world of effects pedals. This wouldn't be so odd except that I play trombone. So I figured this would be a good way to experiment and see what worked and what didn't, so that I could then upgrade to a better pedal or several.
First the good news: This pedal allowed me to figure out quite a few things, and showed me what was possible. It also gave me ideas for what to look for in the future. Having multiple effects available gave me a chance to use some of the most common effects and see what they did for my trombone.
Now the bad: This pedal has given me trouble from the beginning. At first it was a question of the battery dying quickly. Then I was getting blinded by the indicator light. Then it started making noise. This was mostly just a low hum, but any time I touched the pedal to move it there was a loud crunching noise, almost like a broken connection. I had a friend take a look at it, and he found a couple breaks in the solder joints that were caused by poor quality soldering. When I got it back, it was better for a little while, but then the hum came back. I've given up trying to find what's wrong with it, and I am now looking for my next pedal.
Essentially, this pedal is a good intro, but nothing more.

I'm a beginner guitar player, and I've been interested in effect pedals but could not make up my mind which ones to get for the style of music I would like to play. When I ordered this pedal it worked well with my Crybaby Wah and sounds great in Church when I play for service. It has also helped me get an idea of what effects I really want now that I've experimented I'm OK with spending larger amounts of money on more advanced pedals. This is definitely great for beginners or a practice set up. It was well worth the money.

It's inexpensive, it works great, it's not flashy or intricate, and it gets the job done. Not a spectacular sound, but it's more than enough value for the price. I use it live, and works great.

This is a great multi effects pedal. It has all the basic effects and a nob to increase the intensity of the effect as well as 2 more nobs to manipulate the effect to your liking or requirement. I highly recommend this pedal as a starter pedal or for anyone that can't afford the pedal with 50+ presets of the same effects. My only problem with it so far is mine doesn't work with a 9v batter. Of course the battery could just be old, but I wanted to use a wall adapter anyways I just happened to have one of those laying around.

All of the effects on this unit are adequate. The box is well made, but plastic. I wouldn't suggest this for playing out, but for home use it is a solid addition. It allows me to "play" with some sound effects that I wouldn't have otherwise paid to have.
