Bought this guitar for my teenage son, and he is very happy with it. The guitar sounds great. The best thing, according to my son, is the DVD that teachs how to play the guitar such that he can start learning it by himself. The 10 Watt amp seems has lots of power. Overall, a great package as the first electric guitar.

To begin with, this was my first electric guitar. Before, I had played accoustic for three years. I just got this guitar last Christmas. This is a very good guitar, but there were a couple of problems when it arrived. The first problem I encountered was that the amp cable did not work. I didn't really like it anyways. It was a thick cable that was folded up and tied together (it's 10 feet long). I ended up getting a 15 foot cable that was much more flexible. Secondly, and probably the the one that disapointed me the most, was that the manufacturer put two "A" strings on my guitar. instead of the strings going E,B,G,D,A,E like they were supposed to, the strings are now E,B,G,A,A,E.
The Guitar:
I like this guitar a lot. It has a very good sound, and 24 frets, which is important. It comes with a whammy bar, it has a 5 pickups, with a 5-way selector switch, and volume and tone knobs.
The Amp:
This is a 10 watt amp with lots of power. Sometimes when I'm playing in the middle of the day, I'm worried that it's too loud, and I barely turn it up. It does come with a headphone jack, which is important. I'm not exactly sure what the drive button is for, but it makes your guitar sound different, like a rockbands guitar (no, NOT the videogame).
All in all, I was very happy with the guitar, amp tuner, and everything else that came with this product, except the amp cable. The DVD that comes with this product is very helpful too.
