 "Worse Than Expected..." 2009-08-25
By C. Scrimshire (USA)
when i bought this guitar i wasn't expecting much, due to the price, but it was way worse than i expected. It showed up and as soon as i pulled it out of the box, i could see that every string was rusty. i tried it out anyway. when i strum every single string buzzed. i figured it just needed tunning to tighten the strigns. that was not the case. every string buzzed at the top. its just not worth buying. you have to work too much to get it right

 "I'm just a beginner" 2009-04-02
By Kelli (Orem, UT)
I'm a beginner so I don't know a lot about guitars but my husband plays and he seems pleased with it. Also, it's a really good looking guitar. We just tuned it and I think I'm gonna love it.

On a side note, don't buy this guitar thinking it is one that has a built in tuner with the electrics cause it doesn't. Guitars with those are usually a bit more expensive. Other than that, it is great!

 "Pretty good" 2008-11-12
By DarkDolphin7990 (NJ, USA)
I just received my Jasmine Takamine today..and I absolutely LOVE it!!! It sounds decent, even though the strings it comes with is kinda rusty-looking (will probably need to get new strings eventually anyway, but the provided strings function at least). It's a really good guitar for a bargain price(I even had some extra cash to buy a padded bag and some other accessories for it). Tis not bad for my first guitar ever...

 "acoustic guitar" 2010-02-20
By JR (DENVER, CO, US)
I love this guitar and got a great deal on it. I had been searching for quite a while for a good guitar at a low price and I am glad I found this one on Amazon. I am very happy with it.

"Great instrument, especially for $80" 2010-02-13
By Thomas R. Putzel (Boston, MA)
I bought this about 9 years ago. I had a pretty sweet Washburn acoustic and my roomie had an Ovation as well. I'd say the sound quality is amazing, especially considering the double digit price. I was able to adjust the action down remarkably far, further than I originally anticipated, and I have not experienced any of the frequent tuning issues mentioned before. I would recommend this guitar to anyone of any ability. Even a pro should pick one up as a beater because, trust me, this thing can take some abuse!!

 "Amazing for the price" 2010-02-06
By Jesus G. Valenzuela
It is not an exaggeration to say this guitar sounds like it cost $500 instead of $75,it is a vary worthy purchase for anyone.

Lots of people have said that the action is too high, but mine came adjusted properly. By adjusting the truss rod with the Allen wrench included, the action can be adjusted or it can be done by your local Luthier for vary cheap,if you're afraid of breaking The guitar. The guitar came vary well packaged from the manufacturer, lots of bells and whistles meant to protect the guitar that weren't included even with my more expensive guitars. The pick guard is slightly off and it bothers me but it doesn't change the sound or quality of the instrument and I can easily fix this. The tuners stay in tune while you're playing, but expect to it tune daily.I was gonna make this guitar into a acoustic electric, that was the reason I was gonna buy it. I can't bring myself to drill a hole into such a gorgeous guitar,I wasn't expecting it to be this nice. I guess I will be using my old guitar. Really worth the buy.

 "pretty mediocre" 2010-01-28
By J. Gossman (Colorado)
I've had this guitar for 9 months now and was my first guitar ever. I read the reviews here and was very optimistic. got it and started playing and sounds decent there was just one fret that would buzz everytime i played it. but around 2 months ago the fret buzz started getting worse and worse. it started happening on more and more frets. my high e string now is almost entirely unplayable. i dont know if maybe the dry colorado climate has anything to do with it, maybe i got a defective one, i don't know, but its definitely aggravating. it was a good guitar to learn on but i am in definite need of an upgrade. i would enjoy playing my high e string.

 "negative" 2010-01-21
