"Good sound for a little amplifier" 2009-12-30
By Cheryl A. Murphy (Missouri)
For such a little amplifier, it has decent sound. We bought this when we were going on vacation and my son wanted to bring his electric guitar. Didn't have room for his big amplifier, so this was perfect. I was shocked at the sound guality (not the best, but decent), and was so convenient to take with us in the car. Especially when you can plug in an ear phone and only he could hear himself. A co-worker, who is a professional musician, says the guitar player in his band uses one of these to practice guietly while on the road. Would recommend it, and its very durable. You can't beat the price either.

 "Tone Galore" 2009-12-14
By Brock Martin
I own one of these amps and it is capable of everything from very clean to heavy over-drive. I love it. It's got tone galore! I play either a Martin A/E thru it or a Strat knock-off. Either one sounds awesome. Never dreamed of such an enjoyable little amp, let alone for $20. Battery life seems OK, but I hate messing with batteries, so I'd buy power supply (you can get a 9V supply (check for proper polarity) at the Thrift store for a buck). Don't even think about it. Get it. $20 is pocket change.

 "Wonderful and long-lasting!" 2009-09-21
By M. Antonio
This amp (or a similar model of the same look) finally gave out just a few days ago. I can't be sure when my mother bought it, but I seem to remember it being around when I was as young as 5 or 6 years old! That means it lasted at least 12 or 13 years. Incredible!

I can't remember how good the quality was when I was young, but I can say that it survived many, many drops and still had a power and clarity to it up until the end. It's very durable. I'm so pleased with this product.

I was so excited to see it here I had to write a review before I even added it to my shopping cart! So happy.

"Great little amp you can really clip onto your belt." 2009-08-08
By Jerry (Las Vegas, NV United States)
My last portable amp was a the legendary Pig**** which was a solid little amplifier. The N10 HoneyTone is just that and more. From warm clear tones to rauchy distortion this serious amp produces with surprisingly good projection over a livingroom size area. Considering that it is battery powered, the electronics that make this box rock are magic. The settings-guide booklet is spot on for combining tone, volume and overdrive (distortion) effects.

The attractive case is sturdy, light and clean with very accessible controls. A solid belt clip, headphone jack and optional a/c power adapter make this amp is totally versatile. I get good sounds with my acoustic, electric and resonator guitars also soul-sounding combinations for my harmonicas. There is a lot of value in this small package and it comes in candy colors! Sweet.
