When I first received this item, I was a little dissapointed at the size. Then my daughter hooked it up to her microphone and I was impressed by the sound. Not bad for a little amplifier!

I have owned this amplifier for over five years. It got put into storage after the original use ended. I recently had tried to find a reasonably priced, good sound iPhone amp to no avail. All had poor sound or low sound and had the familiar AT&T chirping noise. I had given up, waiting for Christmas for a higher priced amp. Then I found the HoneyTone amp and located an adapter (1/4" to 1/8") and a 1/8" cord extension cord (both from Radio Shack). I put in a new 9 volt battery (the old one wasn't corroded) and it worked. The sound is fantastic and much louder than I need. And I don't even get the AT&T chirp. I don't know if its because of the speaker or the distance from the iPhone. Problem solved. Now I'm going to buy the 9 volt DC adapter.

okay, when i got this, it was only 20 dollars, but i guess the price has changed.
this amp is great!
the reason i bought this mini amp is because i needed a new amp because my amp from a squiere by fender pack broke. i have to say, this is much smaller, but the sound quality is great, and and can get as loud as my bigger amp. it has great distortion, best for the price, and best for the size. what i'm really suprised is that it also has amazing clean tones too. most mini amp only have one or the other. there is a sheet that comes with it that has stuff that show you how to adjust it to get like a clean sound or 70's sound. i like it better , wayyy better than the amp u plug and play or the squire one i owned.
when i first looked at the picture, i fell in love with the aqua color. it has a belt clip so you can play with batteries and walk around the house. it also has a leather handle, but there's not much to say about that.
you can use a 9v battery, which is great, (batteries last around 2 hours, make sure to have a few batteries on you or get rechargeables), or you can buy the danelectro 9v adapter (10$) that fits great so you won't have to waste batteries.
overall, this amp is amazing. a must buy for any guitar player, especially if you want something to take on trips or a very portable one. also makes a great gifts for musicians.

I love this little amp. The sound is nice, and it can get LOUD. I use mine with an electric violin, and clean it sounds beautiful. It is made of quality plastic giving it a sturdy feel. For it's size and price I just don't think you can beat it.
