I got a pair of these strings in early august, i still have them, but being as doubtful as i am, i just bought an extra pair from this seller ( who shipped amazingly fast, it got here in about 3 days!)any ways, the strings stay bright for a long time, don't/have not lost there color yet/rusted (after a little more than four months)and they are everything a guitar player looks for in strings. i do a lot of string bends and these have just held up to it. I have a B.C Rich SOB Avenge, so i can't tell you what its like with a tremolo, but i just like them. I have tried out GHS, First act, Dunlop, and D'addario's and these are the only ones that have last for so long with out showing any signs of significant wear.

Dont get me wrong Ernie ball doesnt make bad strings. It's just to me D'addarios stay fresh longer, and sound clearer and more articulant to me. Ernie's strings arent bad but they arent all that great either now that I switched.

These are cool strings but not good if you use a tremolo. The lighter strings of the set will pull out far too easily. Use Power Slinky if you use the whammy but want the thicker strings. These are good for 27" scale guitars too.

I love these strings. Perfect solution for those who want a thicker sound without moving up to 11 or 12 gauge and tearing up their fingers. Bottom strings are thick for power chords and the top are normal 10-17 gauge. I've had the same set on my strat for over a month now and I play hard every day.
