This amp has a great range of sounds. I like to play songs from blues to rock to metal and this can handle them all with just a flick of the switch. There is a label for the top that says "Sound famous fast" and it is amazing to switch song styles and have the amp instantly imitate the sounds from a variety of artists. From clean to slightly chunky to all out metal, the tones are there. There is also a wide range of effects that you can add in addition to the standard amp settings. The 15w are fine for home use but you would need one of the larger models for anything else.

This is an astonishing little amp. Having played for some years, mostly rock and blues, I decided to experiment with different sounds. This amp is by far the cheapest way forward to do that. Just 3 or 4 of the effects would cost you the same as this amp, and it has 11, never mind 22 different amps to run them through. Not big enough for serious gigging, however it works perfectly, is compact, and is more than powerful enough for home practice. I especially value the power level control at the back of the amp in this regard; same sound, just less volume, and that means you can sound like Slash without giving your neighbour's dog epilepsy.

There are literally hundreds of presets for particular sounds on the web as well, from acoustic to death metal. For the price it is the best value for money musical item I think I have ever bought. I cannot recommend it too highly, especially for beginners; it makes you sound good instantly, and that is good for confidence. Some of the detailing is a little plasticky, but for the money, who cares?

Wow. This is a sweet amp. I have played a variety of guitars & amps over the years, and -- for the money -- this amp cannot be beat. Tones are rich and "breathe" -- just like a tube amp, but with the convenience of a modeling amp. Compare to a Line 6 and prepare to be blown away by the sounds and on-board effects. Vox has a winner here, and the best tribute to this little amp is that it makes me want to be a better player.

This amp has 4 programmable presets plus a manual setting. Since I'm transitioning from acoustic blues to electric I've been impressed from day one over its #2 preset, a low gain crunch with some reverb. I'll probably get around to resetting all the other presets to a similar sound. But they can be put back to factory mode in just a couple of seconds if desired.



I must say this amp really works better than any of the cheap ones I've listened to and as good as most of the amps I've heard which cost twice as much.

I was more then happy with the performance of this amp. It went beyond my expectations. The sound is clean and crisp. The speaker was able to handle any distortion I threw at it and it stayed clean and crisp. The output is much more then I expected for a 30 watt amp. I haven't played an electric guitar in years and wanted to get back into it, I knew I couldn't go wrong with Marshall. They were the top of the line when I was a kid and at 55 now, it still is top of the line. This is a great amp for the money. I could see using this amp for a garage band or playing in bars. I am really have a fun time with this amp. Hope this helps anyone looking to buy an amp for the first time or someone getting back into playing again.

I have always been a dedicated tube amp user, although I am stunned by the new MG series by Marshall.

What is so amazing,is the price!!!! It's clean tone,I believe, is just as good as an all valve, whilst the overdrive is pure metal bliss. The delay is so efficient that one really doesn't require an additional pedal.

If anyone has been an all valve devotee, should at least check this range out, i think you will be pleasantly surprised

What an amazing product. Multi-voltage capability for worldwide use, powering eight pedals, and very cost effective, too. If I bought eight adapters, it would cost me well over $120 USD. Even at the price it's sold at, the build quality is pro level. I'd be happy using this on a well-traveled pedalboard. At this price, you could buy two or three of these packs to power huge boards.



I usually run six to seven pedals in a typical session. Not all at once, but it's nice to know that the delivery is smooth, without any drops or spikes in power level. I can crank 'em all if I want to, and go NUTS.

Out of all the power sources for pedal boards, this is the one to have. I gig often with no back up and it powers all my pedals except my digitech whammy. I have an SKB pedal board but use this instead of the power supply on the board because this is way more reliable.

This amp is a nice little practice amp and dollar for dollar it's a good little amp. I think you would be hard pressed to find an amp this capable for the money. Remember it's just a 10w practice amp.

When I got the amp (which was earlier than I expected. . .) I looked perfect. The amp, though small is beautifull It has solid silver nobs, and the soundd quality is great, While i waited on my guitar to deliver, I hooked it to my computer and used it my home studio music productions.

I own several guitar amplifiers. The good ones are musical instruments in their own rights. They extend and reinforce the subtle dynamics of my playing style and the tonal characteristics of my guitars. My new little Rogue 10-watt combo, the least expensive (by far) and smallest of the lot, is one of the good ones.



When I play finger style with single-coil pickups and the Rogue set "clean" at low volume levels, the bell-like overtones it reproduces are satisfying. When I use a pick and humbucking pickups with the Rogue set "dirty" at low volume levels, it growls appropriately. There's a pattern here: low volume levels. Although this little guy is well-constructed relative to its price point, it is not road-hardened. It's also not very loud.



This begs a question: if one is not a beginner on a shoestring budget, what's the point of such a tiny, quiet amplifier? For me, there is great value in having a quiet musical tool I can use in the dark of the night when the rest of my household is asleep or when my ears hurt in spite of the Hearos earplugs I wear religiously. As such, I'd consider the Rogue a good buy at several times its current price. As it is actually priced, the little Rogue is one of the most incredible bargains in the music world.
