 "Good Product" 2010-05-04
By Boba Chux (Chux SC)
Good product. Does and works as described. The cheapest one of these, and the least gimmicky. I wish it had a couple of other features as the voodoo lab one. Sag function, 18 volt, even though i think that is just a cable which would probably work with this. and I wish it would hook up to a whammy. I don't think any of these thing hook up to a whammy. Luckily I'm a pedal builder and if something has a weird end I'll mod it to have a 2.1. But I love my 535q and whammmy which use their own transformers. Oh well. over this is nice, only thing i like sag on is a big muff anyway, and I can mod it for that very easily.

"If only 1/8" inch narrower" 2010-05-01
By Mark Wothe (Caracas, Venezuela)
Works great with all of my 9v pedals. I think you can run 2 12v as well but I'm not sure. If it was a teeny bit narrower it would fit perfectly on the underside of a pedaltrain board between ribs but so it basically needs two holes drilled into the front of the board to fit and allow A/C power and one for the fuse housing. Works great and helped clean up a bunch of wires for me.

"Great product at a great price" 2010-03-16
By Stephen S. Kostas (Jersey)
This is a great piece of equipment that meets all of my power needs. It's got 8 outputs, which will power all but the most exotic of pedals (I'm running Boss, Ibanez, EHX, Vox, and MXR pedals with it currently), it fits nicely under a Pedal Train, and it's got a nice bright blue light to let you know that everything's working.

Highly recommended.

 "This product is tight" 2010-03-11

This product is very tight, it powers all of my pedals, even though some run at different voltages ext. It powers my Line 6 dl4 Modeler, my boss pedals and even my fulltone pedal that takes 12 watts. Pretty much covers everything for significantly less that the voodoo labs one that it is modeled at. I highly recommend this.

"Solid Performer at a great price!" 2009-12-20
By Scott Wilder (Greenwood, IN)
The key to keeping your guitar performing at their best with great tone and little to no noise is your power source. If you have a ton of pedals then changing all those batteries regularly is a real drag. The Supa-Charger isn't as feature rich as some of its competitors. but it also costs much less. absolutely noise free power to all of my pedals. 6 of the outputs are rated for 100 mA and two are rated for 200 mA. So plenty of power on tap since most pedals use less than 30 mA to operate.

If you have pedals that have unique power requirements like 18 volts or user-adjustable sag; then you may want to try something different. But if you're just powering a bunch of standard 9 volt stomp boxes then this little box is the best value per dollar hands down.

And yes, he blue LED that let's you know it's on is ridiculously bright!!!

 "Windows 7 support defective" 2010-04-27
By pohjola (Maryland)
The hardware may very well be acceptable, but the claimed Windows 7 support for this device is defective. The install disc simply exists saying "your operating system is not supported" but the m-audio has a Windows 7 (64 bit) driver. However after an apparently successful install (after which the device manager claims the unit is connected and working properly) every attempt to send sound to the unit causes the source application to hang. After much trial and error, I found that the unit will work if you go into the control panel, click through numerous dialog boxes and reset the unit to "default" configuration. The M-audio supplied control panel has no effect. After every reboot, the device is inoperable again and the time consuming reset procedure must be repeated.

I don't know if the thing works better with other operating systems, but I'd advise anyone with Windows 7 to avoid this unit.

 "Great Interface" 2010-04-02
By A. Liles (Texas, USA)
I bought this audio interface exclusively for the analog output because once I got a good set of speakers for my computer I realized how poor the quality of the on-bord audio was. I have used it in Windows and OSX and both operating systems were easy to set it up in and use the configuration utility, with OSX being slightly more efficient to use if you change settings a lot. I have had this interface for over 2 years now and it has never given me any problems with the software or the hardware. This interface has the sound quality of much higher end models but is more appropriate for personal computer use because of its size and price.

"Does exactly what it says it does." 2010-03-24
By Andrew Henderson (United States)
Great upgrade from most factory sound cards! Gives you a choice of analog and digital inputs/outputs. I purchased this device because it is the most portable audio interface that works with Pro Tools (M-Powered) recording software, but have pretty much switched over from my on-board sound card for all of my music pleasure-listening on the road too because it sounds so much clearer! Wish they still made this; grab one while you can!

"Great promise - awful driver support" 2010-03-10
By KM (San Francisco, CA)
While the hardware specs on this device seem to serve a wide range of use cases (e.g. music production, audiophile listening on a laptop), the drivers make it rather annoying to use. The audio quality is quite good (when it is working), far better than any onboard audio system I've listened to. On multiple systems (vista 32-bit and windows 7 64-bit), one needs to go into the management utility, switch it into 16-bit mode, then run the audio test before any sound will play. Users need to repeat this process every time the system starts. This issue has been outstanding for quite a long time and support will give no ETA on a fix.

"Easy to use and awesome sound" 2010-02-05

I purchased it only a few days ago. I tried it out with Audacity on Windows XP. It sounded great. I didn't notice any noise.
