Good product. Does and works as described. The cheapest one of these, and the least gimmicky. I wish it had a couple of other features as the voodoo lab one. Sag function, 18 volt, even though i think that is just a cable which would probably work with this. and I wish it would hook up to a whammy. I don't think any of these thing hook up to a whammy. Luckily I'm a pedal builder and if something has a weird end I'll mod it to have a 2.1. But I love my 535q and whammmy which use their own transformers. Oh well. over this is nice, only thing i like sag on is a big muff anyway, and I can mod it for that very easily.

Works great with all of my 9v pedals. I think you can run 2 12v as well but I'm not sure. If it was a teeny bit narrower it would fit perfectly on the underside of a pedaltrain board between ribs but so it basically needs two holes drilled into the front of the board to fit and allow A/C power and one for the fuse housing. Works great and helped clean up a bunch of wires for me.

This is a great piece of equipment that meets all of my power needs. It's got 8 outputs, which will power all but the most exotic of pedals (I'm running Boss, Ibanez, EHX, Vox, and MXR pedals with it currently), it fits nicely under a Pedal Train, and it's got a nice bright blue light to let you know that everything's working.

The key to keeping your guitar performing at their best with great tone and little to no noise is your power source. If you have a ton of pedals then changing all those batteries regularly is a real drag. The Supa-Charger isn't as feature rich as some of its competitors. but it also costs much less. absolutely noise free power to all of my pedals. 6 of the outputs are rated for 100 mA and two are rated for 200 mA. So plenty of power on tap since most pedals use less than 30 mA to operate.



If you have pedals that have unique power requirements like 18 volts or user-adjustable sag; then you may want to try something different. But if you're just powering a bunch of standard 9 volt stomp boxes then this little box is the best value per dollar hands down.



And yes, he blue LED that let's you know it's on is ridiculously bright!!!

Goodness GOD... I can't say enough about this thing. Compressor/Limiter/Gate and a Maximizer. In less space than a Rack Amp.



If you trim this thing out just right for microphones, you can scream at the top of your lungs into the mic and get clear vocals on the other side. I bought this unit to help out with my in home studio and its uses are limitless. At that point I wasn't sure whether it would be useful to me, I was pretty "FNG" to buying these little trinkets. Since buying my last load of equipment in FEB, I have used this while I was running sound for a Pop/Alt Rock/Groove band. Unfortunatley, the gig wasn't long lasting enough, but they were impressed not only with how hard I work, but at how well I managed the sound.



I would recommend this to any person looking for its capabilities. It was and always will be worth every dime I paid for it. It's a no risk deal, you can't go wrong. Im purchasing 5 more in the future to help with drum mics, LOL.

Several decades ago I bought and used a BBE unit in my home studio. I had several people hear my recordings and state my sounds were the best home recordings they had ever heard (in terms of quality and not composition). I attributed the high quality to the BBE. Recently I decided to build another home recording studio, this time all digital, and start writing and producing music again. I had to have a Maxcom in the chain to make the studio complete. BBE has done a fabulous job with this unit. One might reason that combining all the features into one box would compromise the quality. They would be wrong... If you are into making music, you need this unit. You will be amazed by the sound. Like most things very useful, after using it on your first composition, you won't want to be without it...

Love this thing. BBE and compressor all in a single rack space. They could charge double for this thing and it would be worth it. If you have never used a BBE before then you don't know what you are missing. It is really that good.

I do mobile sound and DJ work and wouldn't be with out it.

I use to use a separate BBE and Yamaha compressor but this helps to save space and cuts down on cables and pieces in the audio chain.

Would buy another in a heart beat.

I've had my MaxCom for a couples weeks now, and it has performed just as I expected. BBE has many great products and this compressor/exciter is one of my favorites. The built in Sonic Maximizer, a device that BBE is well known for, is a nice addition to the 2-channel compressor. Having the Maximizer built in frees up a space in your rack because you won't have to buy two seperate units (the Maximizer and a compressor). If you know how a compressor works and what a Sonic Maximizer is, you should have no problem tweaking the settings to where you like them. Currently I have it in my bass rig and I will eventually use it for recording. Check it out, this is a great buy!

Bought it for the vibrato since I can't afford a vintage BOSS but the chorus is very usable and saves up space on the pedal board. Seems very solid and hasn't caused me a problem. I like the speed range. Only wish it had the ability to change speed w/exp pedal. I think it was a very good price as well, cheaper than the music superstores.



I'd recommend to anyone looking for a true vibrato (not tremolo) and you get a pretty nice chorus to boot.

Tried this from an on-line purchase, thinking that a chorus-vibrato pedal would do what I wanted. I will be up front in that it did not allow my ear to "hear" what I wanted to hear. The product is well buil and rock solid. BBE has a good product in the chorus does get really lush and the vibrato is a true pitch bender. Do not confuse vibrato with tremolo (Fender style) as one changes the pitch and the other varies the output (on-off in either a sine wave or square block pattern). The latter is what most see as the Fender "vibrato". This pedal is a true pitch bender in that the wave form changes in frequency and length. If vibrato is your thing this pedal will work - please note and this is the main reason I did not keep it - BBE did not build this for both effects to be on at the same time. Good pedal hunting!

Let me start by saying that I hate chorus. I think it is a nasty effect that sends your sound directly to the 80s. However, I do like it when it is completely over the top (nirvana).



With that said, I love this pedal; both the vibrato and chorus sides. They are incredibly expansive and deep with a lush analog sound. I am going to start using it on gigs immediately!! I can't recommend it enough.

This is a nice analog delay, with warm tones. Delay is not too long. The delays from 0-120ms are not too interesting, in fact crappy. From 120 to 330, they are sweet. It's sort of a one trick pony, limited in scope, but does the short/med delay well, if that's what you're looking for. In sum, if you don't have any delay effect, and you're looking for a warm short delay between 120 and 330ms, this'll work for you. But I have to say, it is limited. You might want to also look at one of the boss delays or an alesis multi mix. If you could stack the delays, then this pedal would be worth keeping. I needed more than 120 to 330ms so it's off my pedal board.

I bought this pedal as an overdrive for my 59 Fender Bassman. It sounds great for blues, country, rock, and punk. I did have some intermintent crakle sound problems with the pedal when I first got it that required some tinkering with the internal circutry. I do like that the pedal does come with a ac adapter because batteries get expensive quick. Just as previews reviewers have stated, the gain is slightly high end shifted meaning that the pedal produces most of it's break up high in the frequency spectrum. I tend to like my sound with a little more low end then this pedal produces but if I am playing the aforementioned genres then this pedal cuts through perfectly in both live and studio mixes. I don't recomend this pedal for metal and I only recomend playing this pedal through a tube amp as it was intended.

I bought the Green Screamer just after Christmas and have used it for three gigs since then. It has a better bass than the Ibanez Tube Screamer that I have been using for at least 10 years. The design, parts used and especially the true bypass make this a winner. The pedal has a real switch that you can feel when it engages, the tone is almost instant Santana and makes it easier to play, especially with a Fender tube amp. I play Blues and Pop music with a Jazz touch and have been playing for 43 years. Favorite guitar to use with the Green Screamer is a Telecaster and the amp is a Fender Blues Deluxe.

First of all, I received the pedal one day after it was scheduled to ship! A+



This is BBE's version of the classic Ibanez TS-808 Tube Screamer (which is made by Maxon). I did not want to fork out the cash to pay for the genuine 808 from Ibanez so I was thinking of going the much cheaper route of building my own clone. I'm really glad I waited and kept searching Amazon for great deals because most other music gear sites are selling this pedal for around $100. So when I saw Amazon had this for much less; I jumped on it. It's actually cheaper than the build it yourself clone kits out there!



It sounds great! It's not sonically identical to the 808; but it's pretty darn close. I'll be able to tell more tomorrow when I get a chance to really turn the amp to 11 :)



It's built like a tank. comes with it's own power supply. The knobs feel super sturdy. and the LED is BRIGHT!!! The in/out jacks are on the side. That's pretty standard although I personally like having them on the back of the unit. It saves horizontal space on the pedal board that way.



If you just HAVE to sound exactly like SRV (one of this pedal's claims to fame), then you might wanna save for the actual ibanez or maxon. For everyone else: get this pedal!

This is an Ibanez Tube Screamer clone. It gives a nice tube like break up. Also a bit of a volume boost if you want it, though you can twidle with the knobs to get to unity gain. It's one of those effects you can leave on all the time. It has slightly less low mid range than the Ibanez, and slightly more upper mid break up. Definitely an overdrive, not a distortion. I like it. All in all, a darn good pedal. Plus it comes with a 5 year warranty, a battery and a wall wart! Whoooo-hoooo! I got it at one of the amazon affiliates for a great price, amazon and musicians friend were a lot more.
