They are decent strings for sure, and maybe I just shred to hard, but after a lot of shredding these things eventually had nickel COMING OFF of them. Maybe I had them on a little long-- some people say each week but I find that far to excessive, so I change mine about once a month when I can. From what I hear D'Addario strings withstand much more, and last a lot longer...so go for those (you can even find them in a lower price range than these if you look hard enough).

Although these strings don't excite me- I believe they are an extremely smart buy and they sound great! I like elixirs but they are rather pricey so this is an awesome alternative to those; So hey why not try them out and save some money? Well, overall it seems like a decent quality product. I used the provided plastic anchors on a wall w/o studs.Other reviewers say the anchors break easily...but they won't break if you know what you're doing. So far so good. However, the actual metal screws that hold the hanger onto the wall do not screw well into the plastic anchors and it feels like they are just sort of RESTING inside the anchors rather than being really SCREWED into the anchors. I will give this a try with my 8lb bass guitar (max recommended limit is 15lb) and really hope I don't end up regretting it.
