 "good strings" 2010-01-16
By T. Vanselus (WI USA)
my e string broke about a week after installing these, but I have used ernie ball strings in the past and never had any problems so that was probably a fluke. I bought a six pack of e strings from the manufacturer's site so I expect these will last quite a while since that's the string I always break.

I find no desire to change brands after stringing my telecaster with these beasts. They stay in tune, sound great, and are easy on the fingers. I'll continue to use them until something markedly better comes along and is somehow strung on my instrument without my knowledge.

 "The BEST Strings... personally." 2009-09-22
By Six (Hell Centro, CA)
I've tried all kinds of strings, Rotosound, GHS, Dean Markley... they just muddle the sound and/or make the guitar harder to play due to unwanted string tension... I play an LTD EC1000 with EMG 81+85pups, hands down the best guitar I've ever played, even better than the Gibson SG's I've had (which I still wish I actually had my first one), but even tried different Ernie balls... get these, they're all you need.

 "Decent strings" 2009-08-20
By Tyler Valitalo
They are decent strings for sure, and maybe I just shred to hard, but after a lot of shredding these things eventually had nickel COMING OFF of them. Maybe I had them on a little long-- some people say each week but I find that far to excessive, so I change mine about once a month when I can. From what I hear D'Addario strings withstand much more, and last a lot longer...so go for those (you can even find them in a lower price range than these if you look hard enough).
