 "Amazing sleeper" 2010-09-08
By Tom Steele
This thing has great tweed amp tone. The pedal and the sound you get from it would be a bargain at three or four times the price. And if you're a DIY stompbox builder, this is a GREAT source of parts. The enclosure and switch alone would cost you more than this pedal if you bought the parts online. I won't be cannibalizing mine, but I may get another to mod.

This isn't a tube screamer and it isn't going to sound like one. That soft-clipping mid boost ain't here. What is here is a very nice top end and a ton of clean headroom. For the price, if you don't like it, give it to some kid. Dig it!

 "Cool tones" 2010-08-25
By Tony Lappico (Long Beach, ca, US)
Not the best, not the worst. I do think this is a great value. Lets a novice try an effects pedal without breaking the bank. Can get some smooth overdrive and plenty of crunch. Is a little harsh, not as warm as more expensive models.

"It will replace the distortion of your amp" 2010-07-30
By Tina R. Clark (Fairfax, VA USA)
This was my first guitar overdrive pedal that I have now. So I didn't Know what else you need to do before setting up this thing;it also didn't came with instructions.

Forget about instructions! I just turned up the distortion of my amp a bit, turned up the level and gain knobs up to 10 on the pedal ( I wish they had 11 levels) And I got some sweet overdriven distortion with only a little bit from the amp. It sure does make your guitar mix up blues with hard rock.

you can blame your amp for the most of the disadvantages like over-distortion

(which can only be on purpose by someone). But sometimes the sound has more bass (low equalization) even if you put your treble high up on your guitar, lower the bass on the pedal and the amp. The pedal doesn't work too much on van halen stuff obviously because this is a "BLUES Overdrive" pedal.

this is just good enough for people who are looking for those $200 Double trouble distortion because this is cheaper price below $100.

"Not a lot you can do with this pedal that you can't do with a good amp" 2010-07-09
By Baltis S. Schuller
Don't get me wrong, it does have a tad warmer sound than what you get out of your typical "non tube" amp but the trouble of hooking it up and going through the motions almost isn't worth it. I did say "Almost". It's a good pedal for the price. It does give you a deeper sound and it doesn't sound phoned in like a lot of pedals do at this price. If you don't have a tube amp and you wanna experiment with a slightly warmer sound this pedal is probably a dream come true. For your wallet and you. Depending on what kind of guitar you play on, pickups you have in it and amp you use though, it might not be for you. Then again, it's like 12 bucks for this thing and I don't think any guitarist will lose much sleep over it at night.

It's an average pedal at a steal of a price. We'll put it that way. There are better pedals to be had that will give you this sound and more but you'll be paying 100+ for them and the bells and whistles it has that that one doesn't. Decide what's best for you and jump inn.

"Don't be fooled by the price, this thing is the real deal." 2010-06-25
By Alex Nennig (New London, WI)
True bypass, metal construction, all for $20 bucks?

It must sound like hell if its that cheap, right?

WRONG!

I bought this pedal on a whim, hoping to have a milder overdrive for the surf tones I use with my Danelectro guitar, and I got that and more. The tone on this thing is genuinely impressive, its a very respectable blues overdrive. I like it quite a bit better than the Boss blues pedal. The gain levels actually can result in some pretty crunchy sounds, and the high and low knobs allow for some nice tone shaping options.

It does get a little noisy on the higher settings, but its not terrible that way at all, and again, its TWENTY DOLLARS!!! Best sleeper pedal ever! It sounds great, its built sturdy, bottom line: you won't find a Blues overdrive better than this for $70 at least. A very VERY nice addition to your pedal collection, and one that won't cost much for you to add.

 "I didn't have a good time" 2010-06-18
By Miles A. Wilson (Mission,KS)
The guitar had some fatal flaws with it. The high E string buzzed when fretted anywhere, and the rest of the strings buzzed when fretted at 14 or higher. Then the buzzing got worse, so I took it to a dealer, who had it replaced with a much nicer D10SCE with Fishburn electronics, after a 6 week wait and an additional $50. A seam failed in the gig back also, but Washburn replaced it with a nice hard case. Apart from some frustrating hours, I came out on top with this transaction. I believe this guitar is discontinued. Let's hope so.

 "Best Christmas Gift" 2010-01-24
By Yoga Mom (Joaquin, TX)
I knew my husband wanted a guitar for Christmas. I consulted my brother-in-law ,a musician, about what brand and almost everything because I knew nothing about guitars. All I knew that my husband wanted an acoustic electric but was completely lost. I shopped online the catalogs that my brother-in-law gave me but wasn't happy at all with what I was finding. I love Amazon and always go to Amazon when shopping for most everything online. Once I searched Amazon, I found instantly what I was shopping for and the price was half or better of what I was finding elsewhere. And knowing how great Amazon's customer service is so it was a no brainier. The guitar came in on the day the shipping status said it would it perfect condition. And my husband couldn't be happier. He LOVES this guitar. My sons love this guitar. Matter of fact, we're going to order one for my oldest sons birthday coming up. Great find, great buy and great price.

 "Better than I expected" 2010-01-01
By S. Schwarz
I bought this for my son for Christmas and not only did I receive this guitar before the est. shipping date, it is beautiful! I had taken my son to a local music store where he was playing with other brands(extremely high priced) of this type of guitar, which were nice and

all but when my son opened this guitar up he said it exceeded his expectations..he really likes that it has the tuner AND and amp built in. Fabulous sound quality. 2 thumbs up for sure!

"A WONDERFUL GUITAR FOR THE MONEY!!" 2009-01-22
By J. Taylor
I just purchased this guitar package and all I can say is BUY ONE AS SOON AS YOU CAN FIND ONE. This guitar should easily sell for at least $700.--BY ITSELF! The guitar has an on board WT-92 preamp-tuner(very accurate) along with a spruce top with mahagony sides and back and the detail work on it is simply OUTSTANDING!! You also get a padded Washburn gigbag along with several pics and guitar strap and an instructional cd. I own a couple of other really nice guitars but I can already tell I'll be playing this one more often than the others in the future. You can spend a lot more money and get a lot less guitar but why would you?

"Great guitar only litter problem" 2009-01-15
By Shanbin Wang (west lafayette, IN)
It's really good. It's my first time come to America and use Amazon to buy things. The guitar really good. It sounds good and not expensive. I don't know how to speak it in English but it's good! I love it. The only problem is that some part of the guitar is not "smooth".Maybe it is because of shipping I don't know!

"This is a great starter electric guitar." 2010-03-02
By Albert Tow (BROOKLINE, MASSACHUSETTS, US)
I bought this guitar for my daughter. For fifty bucks this is as good as any beginner guitars priced at 100.00. If your daughter does'nt mind the Hanna Montana and wants a decent electric guitar to learn to play then this it. This was shipped quickly and packaged well for the awkward shape of a guitar.

 "Works-she loves it" 2010-02-01
By Renee Shelley
My daughter wanted a guitar for Christmas, and my husband wanted this one because she loves Hannah Montana. I was kinda doubtful, but despite managing to break a string Christmas Day, it has held up to over a month of daily playing, so definantly worth it:)

 "Granddaughter loves this guitar!" 2010-01-08
By A. Morgan (Olathe, KS)
I bought this for my 7 year old granddaughter and she absolutely loves it. I wished I had bought a guitar strap to go with it. It is a very good quality guitar for the price. She hides it from her dad! :). Of course, she also loves the fact that it is a " Hannah Montana " guitar. Very happy with purchase.

 "Nice guitar for beginners" 2009-12-13
By R. Tyson (Wichita, KS)
This is a great guitar for those young girls wanting to learn how to play...I guess young boys might like it too, if that's their thing.

 "IN - FOR - MA - TION NEEDED !!!" 2009-12-05
By Mr. Durel Philippe
A lot of parents who wish to buy their daughter an electric guitar already know what an electric guitar IS.

These "well informed" parents usually like to get some rather precise information about the instruments that they would wish to to buy for themselves, and surely also for their children.

Unfortunately, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that could give any further information about this product than the official "Washburn Hannah Montana Guitar" website ( [...] ), and there is ABSOLUTELY NO INFORMATION on this website ... ( how stupid indeed !!! ).

I'm not really sure about the scale length, but it seems to be 24 inches on the D string. Am I right or wrong ???

The body should be made using "selected hardwood" ... which wood : oak, beech, ash, maple, cherry, holly, boxwood, holm oak, teak, mahogany, ebony, lauan, balsa ??? ( go check hardwood on wikipedia !!! ).

There is also hardwood plywood !!!

NO INFORMATION ! SORRY ! NOT FOR ME ! NOT FOR MY DAUGHTER !
