Xotic RC Booster Guitar Pedal

The best characteristic of the RC Booster is that it has no character at all.

By connecting the RC Booster between your guitar and other effect pedals it will sustain your original guitar sound all the way to amp, as well as emphasizing any effects sound characteristics. It also acts as a buffer, fighting against signal degradations caused by long cable runs and electromagnetic noise.

The GAIN control has the characteristics of a clean tube amp and by fine turning it you can create a bold and smooth sound which resembles the sound of an amp with its volume cranked.

The RC Booster, in addition to its GAIN control, also comes equipped with VOLUME, TREBLE, and BASS controls that allow you to contour your sound anyway you like. Switching is true bypass, eliminating any signal interference when it is switched out. It also works great with electric bass guitar and acoustic guitar.

The RC Booster is all hand wired and hand crafted in the U.S.A., and can be used with AC adaptor (optional - neg tip) or 9V Battery.

 "The Best 2nd preamp!" 2010-02-06
By Walter R. Bryant
This pedal is not like an addition to your amp or preamp, it's more like an extension. No added color, just more sound. It's like your knobs go in range to 20 instead of 10! Solidly built and easy to use. Your ear dictates the settings. It's well worth the cost!

 "BB Preamp" 2009-11-09
By Gene P. Mccahill (Md)
My secret to tone others wonder about. Run it through a Dr Z Maz and get a tone gusher. I had second thoughts about sharing secrets. Well, it's no longer a secret.

"One of the best overdrive pedals" 2008-12-14
By William Bent (NJ USA)
I use this with a Strat and a Suhr Badger 18Watt combo, and it sounds really good. It maintains your playing dynamics, and doesn't muddy the sound like most other overdrive pedals.

It's true bypass meaning it will not affect your signal at all when bypassed, which is nice if you have a quality guitar and amp, but I don't even care cause I leave it on most of the time!

It accepts a standard Boss AC adapter and has a battery compartment.

This is probably not what you're looking for if you are a metal player, but if you play blues/rock, do yourself a favor and check this pedal out!
