I put one lightweight metal vpn router on this shelf, and it's sagging in the middle.

I bought this shelf because it was a lot cheaper than the Middle Atlantic unit. The metal thickness is just as good and the finish matches well. The ventilation hole pattern is not as pictured. The current model has a regular pattern of slots and can be seen on the Raxxess web site.

"BEST THING BEHRINGER HAS MADE!" 2010-02-28
By My Stars* (gadsden,alabama)
Durable, quiet, compact and low cost. This thing is awesome! Not only does it hold 12 standard size pedals,it powers them as well!!!With a little creativity this thing will hold larger,mis-shaped boutique style pedals as well. This product cannot be beat for the "bang for your buck" factor.Look,I have been a musician for 22 years.I know good equipment. This is really good.It comes with all the cables you need to get it wired too!!!Awesome job on this one Behringer. Now,if you would only make your RV600 pedal the same quality I would be a fan for life.Buy this guys.It can't be beat.

 "Nice, but needs work." 2010-01-09
By Richard A. Kappele (Henderson, NV United States)
This is a nice board but it has a few problems. The foam sections each have two cut-outs for Behringer pedals and I don't have any Behringer pedals. I had to cut the foam for EBS, Tech21, Digitech, Ibanez, Aphex, and BBE. My Keeley compressor was smaller and I had to use some of the foam cut for the other pedals to fill in around the Keeley. This isn't a big deal except for the more unusually shaped pedals like the Tech21 VT-Bass and Aphex Bass Xciter. I had a Boss pedal board and while the foam sections in it are not the same size as those in the Behringer, the Boss foam sections have the area where the pedal goes filled with foam and perforated so you can cut a special shape or pop out the pedal area. I popped out the pedal portion of foam from the Boss and used it to fill in the pedal area in the Behringer, allowing me to cut custom pedal openings. The Boss board even had an extra solid section of foam for custom work.

After I got all the pedals in and hooked-up, I tried it out. Nothing, no sound at all. I found that the two ¼" jacks for INPUT and TO EFFECTS were soldered to a circuit board that had a break in it. I warmed-up my soldering iron and took the jacks off the board and hard wired them (straight lug to lug except for a ground jumper). I plugged in again and I had sound - with noise.

I replaced the Behringer power supply with a 1-Spot and all the noise went away; which makes me think the Behringer power supply is not regulated.

If you don't mind a little work and spending another $20 on a new power supply, your biggest problem will be if you have unusual pedal shapes. I also think the padlock loops should be on the outside edges so a lock would prevent the case locks from being opened.

"Great value for the cost" 2009-12-31

Purchased this for a gift. Was concerned that it might not match up to the gator products. Worked very well. Was larger then expected. Black in color allowed it to match other music products. built in electronics worked great.

 "Nice case" 2009-12-23
By J. Gaskins (Amelia, OH)
Very professional looking case. Sturdy. You can cut the foam to fit different pedals and if you are creative, can route the wiring so it can barely bee seen. Sure beats carrying all your pedals in a duffle bag and setting them up every time you play. Nice price too.

"Good value for the price - Noisy, though" 2009-04-04
By R. Johnson (Massachusetts)
This is an inexpensive pedalboard, costing about 1/2 to 1/3 as much as some of the others. It sets up easily. I do not have any Behringer components, but it fits the small Boss units in the standard slots. They do not provide extra foam for oddly-sized components, of which I have several. For my MXR flanger, Green Screamer, Morley pedal, and MXR Noise Gate I had to cut out custom foam inserts. I found the foam at mcmaster.com.

When closed, the case provides good protection for the pedals, which was my main reason for buying it. Unfortunately the Morley pedal doesn't fit when the case is closed, so I still have some fussing to do to get set up, but it is much better than before when I had all of the pedals thrown into a bag.

The biggest problem with this arrangement is that it is NOISY, especially when using a compressor or the Green Screamer. I suspect that the noise is coming from a ground loop, which is not uncommon in pedalboards, when several pedals share the same power supply. There are some possible solutions, of which the most promising appears to be a multi-tap transformer that would isolate the ground returns. But that is still on the list of things to do. In my case the MXR and Morley run on AC so there is AC power running near the signal lines, which also is probably contributing to the noise.

All told I think this is a decent product, at a good value (considering it comes with what could easily be $50 worth of patch cords). For a garage band, it is adequate. If you are going on tour with Pink Floyd, you can probably afford something a bit more high end.

I have purchased 3 of these bags from them. The first one was good. The second had a sewing defect and was returned. The third had a rusting backstrap buckle (which I don't use too often). Overall, the bag protects my guitars well for the price paid. Hope you get a good one!

The Ringer is a custom designed shockmount for Blue's complete line of spherical microphones; the ball, the 8-ball and the soon-to-be-released kickball and snowball. The Ringer is a vintage-style suspension mount designed to isolate the microphone body from low-frequency energy when mounted on a microphone stand.  "Nice Addition to Great Mic" 2010-03-16
By C. J. Bockay (Chicago IL USA)
I've already reviewed the Blue Snowball microphone and my feedback was quite favorable. I debated whether I wanted to spend an additional $40 on this shockmount because I did not detect any low frequency sounds coming through on my recordings. However, I did want something that would raise the height of the microphone. Even with fully extending the tripod that was provided with the Snowball mic, I was still bending my neck downward into the mic. This shockmount raises the mic a couple inches and it now is aligned perfectly with my mouth. Besides that, it really makes my studio look pretty sharp! I have not had any issues with the side tightening pin as others have reported.

 "Needs more work" 2009-12-13
By Todd M. Wilkinson (Avon,IN USA)
The shock part of this is fine, but the mount part needs a lot of work.

Problem 1) Once locked in, the mount part of it wobbles back and forth. It's loose and no amount of tightening will fix it, looks like they tried already and stripped out the screws at the plant. Now Blue was very accommodating and sent me a new one which is better but it still will wobbles about a 1cm back and forth at the top. I ended up using some super glue to stop this. At home this is ok, but in a studio or regular recording use it probably won't stand up for long.

Problem 2) The swivel arm, you just cant get it tight enough. The screw is made of very soft metal and the swivel is flat metal on flat metal so it never really gets right enough and a good push will knock it over. Once it's on a mic swivel arm I don't think it will last long. It might but I'm not sure.

Pro * It does the isolation part well and if I can keep it immobile it will do a fine job, just needs an update (version #2 ? )

 "The Rattler" 2009-06-13
By Brian J. Buehler (Michigan, USA)
This looked like a good product and a great match for the Snowball microphone. However, upon fastening the Snowball to the center ring microphone mount, I noticed a rattling noise anytime the assembly was moved. Turned out the metal bracket that the microphone mounts to was wobbly in the center (isolated) ring and would make a rattling sound if the shockmount was moved in the slightest. Tightening the screws that hold the mount to the inner ring seemed like a good idea except that the design kept things from clamping tighter together. Adding shims would have solved the problem but seems inappropriate given the price of this shockmount.

Since zero stars is not an option, I rate this product a one star and have returned it.

 "Beware!" 2009-05-15
By zaria (Dallas, Tx United States)
I love the snowball microphone. It does all that it is supposed to do. The Ringer is a sharp looking item which also does what it is supposed to do. The problem I have had with the Ringer is the thumb screw on the side. It is made of a soft metal and broke easily. All I need to make my Ringer work is a new thumb screw. I have REPEATEDLY emailed and explained the problem and requested a new thumb screw, which they have happily agreed to send me. But nearly six months later, I still do not have the simple thumb screw and I still am unable to use the Ringer with my Snowball. Recently, I have needed another microphone and I thought I would get the Baby Blue Bottle condenser mic, but after the awful experience I have had with Blue, I won't buy one. A company can have a great product but if they can't deliver on basic customer service, then they can not get my repeat business. I would not even be making this review if I had simply received a thumb screw so I could use the Ringer. Therefore, if you buy this product just be aware that if you have even a small problem you will be on your own to solve it.

"WOrks great for isolation, kind of Big though" 2009-04-15
By K. Giles
This is a fantastic Shock-mount. I bought it to go with my Snowball, but it also works well with the blueball and any other mic with a mic clip that you need isolated.

She is kind of big, so on camera not as classy or stylish as I would like.

WHat else can I say. It's a shock mount. LOL.
